Staff
Beverly Ashley Broyles, Executive Director, earned her undergraduate degree from San Jose State University in California and her Masters Degree from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville Tennessee. She was the Director of Education and Public Programs at the Knoxville Museum of Art in Knoxville Tennessee; Executive Director at the historic Johnson Hall Opera House Center for the Performing Arts in Gardiner Maine; Director of Education at the Center for Maine Contemporary Art in Rockport, Maine; and the Executive Director of River Tree Center for the Arts in Kennebunk, Maine.
Donna Langford, Museum Curator, has a Master's degree in Anthropology from Northern Illinois University. Langford joined the Tinker Swiss Cottage Museum staff as Curator in September 1999, after five months as Museum Assistant. Her previous museum positions include curatorial and research positions with the Aurora Historical Society, the Blackwell History of Education Museum (DeKalb), the Time Museum (Rockford), and the Illinois State University Museum.
Steve Litteral: Director of Visitors Services. Steve attended Rock Valley College where he received an Associate of Arts Degree and then graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Arts in History. He served 7 years in the U.S. Army as a Paratrooper. A native of Rockford, Steve served as an intern at Tinker Swiss Cottage Museum from June to October, 2007.
