Contributions to Tinker Swiss Cottage Museum are always appreciated. Your contributions help the Museum preserve the past and share it with visitors.

Unrestricted gifts are used in the day-to-day operation of the Museum and care of the historic Cottage.

Restricted gifts
If you wish to restrict your gift, contributions may be made for the following projects:

The Education Fund: to ensure that the museum's program of education services for
schools, seniors, and civic groups continues.

Restoration of the Tinker's railroad gardens across Kent Creek from the Cottage.

Care and restoration of the historic Tinker Swiss Cottage.

Care and preservation of the unique collection of artifacts that once belonged to the
Tinkers.

The Endowment Fund: to ensure that the Museum has the resources it needs for the future. A fund is maintained at the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois.

In-kind Contributions
Tinker Swiss Cottage Museum needs those items in the back of your closets too! Household, office, and craft supplies, computer equipment, and other everyday items all are needed as part of the Museum's daily operations. Check out our wish list.
