Jackie Abels
2018 Volunteer of the Year

Picture
Jackie is one of our most recent volunteers, joining our team in May 2018. A retired Rockford native, Jackie wanted to make a difference in her community, so she signed up to be a gardener in our historic Tinker Gardens.

In the time she has been with us, Jackie has accumulated over 100 volunteer hours! We are very thankful to have her join our fantastic group of volunteers.

Jackie stated, “The house is fantastic, and it has been a great privilege and honor to help with the gardens. I look forward to spring and doing what I can to make the grounds of this grand house shine!”
